Woke up and went into college. Had a great lesson learning some more James Brown drum licks and grooves. Absolutely love this funk of that fella, loved sitting there playing some funk.
Had another LPW and this week had to play Valerie, the Amy Winehouse. Now, i'm not sure if you would know but i've played that song a fair few times now with a great band Onec5oneS. We didn't practise this week so I was hoping to wing it. It went ok, nothing major went wrong, kept my cool, kept the time and played fine. Made the rest of the day great.
Came out and walked Steve to the station as he's going back to Uppy. His sooooo lucky. Anyway saw him off and walked home. One the way back I saw a policeman wheeling a bike down the road, I felt like saying to him 'Whats it done officer?'
Came home had a nice little nap and then talked to my parents. Ain't done much, but still gotta blog it aint ya,
